Sick Day!! :(

Well, today has not been a great day for us. Laney has been up the last two nights with a horrible earache. I finally decided this morning that she had to go to the doctor- no more waiting around. I got up, called in for a sub, (I was late) and went to school to get things ready. We were giving a benchmark test at school today, and it was not a good day to be missing! Anyway, finally left school around 9- went to get my screaming child from my mom and waited. Her doctor's appt wasn't until 11:30 so we had to wait. It was excruciating to say the least! Anyway, she did have a bad ear infection and is taking an oral antibiotic and ear drops. I was PLEASED (note the sarcasm) when the Target pharmacist told me it would be $60 for the meds. Oh well, don't have a choice! Anyway, we are at home resting- I hope we get some shut eye tonight!!! Tomorrow's my birthday!
